hello and welcome

{camo meets couture} by Jenee C. is an Australian native living in Clarksville TN. 

With a background in Architecture, living in a small town proves challenging when it comes to good design and other fine frivolities in life. This blog is a way for me to channel my creativity and share my personal style with other like minded individuals. Here you will find a collection of fashion conquests and pursuits, recipes, photos from the everyday and some extracts of family life thrown in. 

The opposite to your usual small town to big city story. I live in an army town where I stay home to look after my two little girls. My husband can usually be found in some corner of the country (or world) playing soldier. When he is around, he becomes my personal photographer. 

My favourite book is The Unbearable Lightness of Being and favourite movie is Sabrina. My heart always skips a beat when I find exquisite beauty in obscure places. I take way too many photos of my kids and eat way too much cake. Favourite architect is Alvaro Siza and if I had to come back as any other life form, I'd choose a unicorn.
