Wardrobe Diaries: Downtown Weekender

One of the things I miss most living in small town USA is the ability to walk to places. Where I live there are no pavements, shops are broken up and scattered along the highway. Boutique stores and cafes are pretty much nonexistent, and lunch via the drive thru seems to be the norm. There's no denying it, I do miss city life. In my previous life, walking made up a big chunk of my day. Back then it never occurred to me there were places in the world where pedestrians were viewed as being either odd or homeless. I guess when cities are built to revolve around cars then the loss of street life really shouldn't come as a surprise.This lovely dress by Judith March I recently purchased from Couture Crush, one of a small handful of boutique stores that exist in our town. The crochet overlay and lovely mustard colour gives it a summery bohemian vibe perfect for a relaxed weekend about town.
