An Airborne Air Show

Before you begin reading I must warn you, this post is neither fashion nor food related. In fact there's nothing very feminine about it at all. Today's post is a little bit different. I thought I'd share with you a glimpse into the 'camo' side of {camo meets couture}.

If the title hasn't given it away yet, this blog post is about an air show. Okay, you're probably rolling your eyes right now but this isn't your typical run of the mill show. These are pictures taken at the annual air show on our Army base. Sure, there were planes somersaulting in the sky but this air show was focused more on celebrating the military, especially the Airborne division than it was about showcasing different types of aircrafts. After all this year marks the 70th birthday of the 101st Airborne Division (Screamin' Eagles). Enjoy!

I loved this Jenee! My dad was a member of the 101st Airborne division and met my mom when he was stationed at Fort Campbell. (he used to jump out of airplanes to earn extra money when my mom was pregnant with me--haha). Is that where you live?!

Jenne, We go to this air shows a lot too. Nice photos. Anything about aurplanes and all about space we go. I guess that is my husband's excuse to use his flying skills and talk about it, lol

ohhh that's exciting! I've been to a couple of those myself believe it or not! One of my bff's was in the airborne division for a long time.
Re: the shoes. You're too funny. I was actually getting excited about the glitter cap toes so I think I might still do them. Don't know how I feel about these other ones but I can still do them IF I can find some cheap heels with a massive platform pump LOL...don't know where I would find those...hehehe

Thank you for sharing these shots! Your photos make everything seem so artful, there's one where I thought it was a tetris piece until I realised it was an aircraft! I remember going to an airshow when I was a little kid, but this one seems a lot better than the one I went to :)

Thank you for showing us some glimpses of the air show. My cousin brother is from the army aviation wing, he flies these jets/air crafts. So, we see air shows on T.V. whenever we get an opportunity. But surprisingly, although externally, he is such a tough man and his job is full of pressure, he is so kind at heart. He is a family man and keeps in touch with everybody even if he is stationed in a very remote area.
Take care,

Hahah, I definitely wasn't rolling my eyes. It's always interesting to see another side of the blog. :)
These pictures are gorgeous, and wow, that massive plane ( ? ) that's shaped like a hang glider reminded me of X-Men : First Class, and their jets.
